ampOSC collects nothing about you, sends nothing off your network, and needs no account. This page is short because there is little to say.
What the app collects
Nothing. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no advertising identifier. ampOSC does not know who you are and never asks.
What the app connects to
Two things, both on your own network: the mixing console you point it at, and whatever OSC clients connect to it. Nothing is sent to JTAP or to anyone else, and the app makes no request to the internet in normal use.
What is stored, and where
Your settings — the console address, the port numbers, the MIDI channel and your preferences — are held in macOS user defaults on your own Mac. Deleting the app removes them. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
If you send a bug report
Reporting a bug from the support page is the one time anything reaches JTAP, and only what you type in the form: your message, and an email address if you choose to give one. The page adds the browser's user agent and IP address to help with spam. It is used to answer you and for nothing else, is never sold or shared, and is deleted once the matter is closed.
The report is sent by email to JTAP. Email is not encrypted end to end, so don't put anything in it you would not put in an ordinary email.
Children
ampOSC is a professional audio tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
