Feature
Overview
The Overview is your live control surface — a complete visual inventory of every channel on the console, updating in real time.
Each channel appears as a colour-coded card showing its name, short ID, and live stereo metering. Muted channels glow red, soloed channels glow yellow, and DCA-assigned channels carry a tint from their group. Switch to meter view for a dense, 20 fps signal-level display across every input and output at once.
Six function modes give you instant one-tap control without opening a channel strip:
- Mute — tap any card to toggle its mute.
- PAFL — tap to solo a channel to your headphones.
- Fader — drag vertically on any card to ride its level, trim, gate threshold, compressor threshold, or high-pass frequency. A detent snaps at 0 dB so you always find unity.
- Edit — rename and recolour any channel with the built-in keyboard and colour palette.
- Meters — tap a card to inspect every metering point in its signal chain: trim, pre-fade, gate gain reduction, insert points, EQ, compressor gain reduction, post-fade, and more.
- Alt Source — select alternate input sockets on dLive consoles.
Overview is where you live during the show. One screen, every channel, no page-flipping.
